Souq is an E-commerce marketplace just like Amazon. Its based out of Dubai. Amazon acquired Souq.com, popularly described as 'Amazon of the Middle East' in March 2017. Souq.com is the largest e-commerce store platform in the Arab world. The company was launched in 2005 On March 28, 2017.


3. ​The Washington Post (Newspaper)

Jeff Bezos also owns the century and above old newspaper 'The Washington Post'. This company has been owned by Jeff Bezos, he purchased the newspaper in August 2013 for a sum of $250 million.

4. Whole Foods Market

The Whole Foods market is a supermarket chain specialized in selling of organic food which was acquired by Amazon in 2017. Whole Foods has now been fully merged with the Prime membership program.

5. Twitch Interactive

The popular twitch web live streaming service used for gaming and esports competitions is also owned by Jeff Bezos.

6. ​Kiva Systems (Robotics company)

On March 2012, Jeff Acquired Kiva systems robotic company for $775 million. The company uses  robots at logistic centres and warehouses of Amazon for package-carrying.
